The CEEC Foundation functions in an advisory capacity to a National Academy Foundation (NAF) member academy. The Advisory Board is an integral part of the learning experience for all academy students, bridging classroom learning with the world of college and careers.

CEEC Foundation, Inc. a 501c3 provides an essential bridge between the classroom and the workplace.

The foundation is dedicated to maximizing work-based learning activities and industry-relevant curriculum is essential to preparing young people for college, career, and future success. In addition, advisory board members provide strategic planning and direction, curriculum review, and professional support for NAF academies and teachers.

Objectives

  • Collaborate

    Collaborate with the academy to prepare students for success in college and careers

  • Network

    Leverage connections to raise awareness of the academy and build community support.

  • Coordinate

    Secure and coordinate a sequence of work-based experiences, including paid internships.

  • Participate

    Participate in a variety of in-person and virtual classroom activities and projects.

  • Seek

    Find, fund, or furnish paid internship opportunities.

  • Sustainability

    Provide strategic leadership and solicit financial support from the community to ensure academy sustainability.

  • Recruit

    Recruit additional community, employers, and post-secondary education leaders.

  • NAF

    Ensure the board operates within NAF’s recommended membership and management practices.
